Dedication to quality is demonstrated over time. For over 35 years MegaFood has made the highest quality whole food supplements with a promise to stay true to Mother Nature’s intention. In order to control quality and monitor every step from the harvest to tablet, MegaFood built its own state of the art manufacturing and testing facilities called Durham Research and Delta Analytical, respectively. By expanding our facilities and broadening our testing capabilities, we were able to design, improve upon and implement the gentlest and most advanced methods to produce our FoodState® concentrates and final formulations. We are proud to have a long standing history of our commitment to quality and to offer the very best in pure whole food nourishment.

dedicationtoqualityTo ensure the quality and purity of all incoming raw materials and finished products, Delta Analytical, our fully equipped state of the art laboratory, routinely performs a variety of precise analytical tests. All formulas are tested and validated to be free from common food contaminants including pesticides, herbicides, microbes and heavy metals. We also measure and validate the potency of the 100% whole food nutrients delivered in each FoodState® concentrate. In addition to these technologies our team of biochemists perform organoleptic testing, a traditional identification method of plant and food materials that utilize the five senses. With an increasing incidence of food sensitivities and allergies Delta also tests and validates the absence of common allergens including soy, gluten and dairy.

As purveyors of whole food supplements, our FDA-Registered and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) compliant manufacturing facility is annually audited by the AIB consolidated standards for food safety. Our facility is also certified by Quality Assurance International, a reputable certifier of companies that handle and produce certified organic foods. To verify our testing methodologies at Delta are accurate and reputable, we will often perform third party laboratory testing.
