Delta Analytical is our privately owned, in-house laboratory. Our expert team of highly qualified scientists and technicians work in tandem to develop new and improved analytical methods with the highest accuracy and precision possible. This ensures MegaFood products will remain among the best the market has to offer. Having a laboratory directly on our manufacturing premises gives MegaFood the flexibility and capability to perform numerous analytical tests during the various stages of producing our supplements. MegaFood has made a substantial investment in the development and staffing of Delta Analytical to meet ever-increasing demands for accurate product analysis of herbal and nutritional raw materials as well as finished consumer products.

Delta Analytical features precise equipment including:

• High Performance Liquid Chromatographs (HPLC) to identify and measure levels of vitamins and select phytonutrients.
• An Inductively Coupled Plasma(ICP) used for routine analysis of minerals and metals. The high sensitivity of the instrument allows for detection at the parts–per–trillion (ppt) level which allows MegaFood to provide products that are of the highest quality, purity and safety.
• Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometer – a very sensitive machine used to detect even very low potencies of whole food nutrients.

BioSan LABS

BioSan Labs, our parent facility, has blended, tableted, tested, bottled and shipped quality whole food supplements since 1973. Paying careful attention to how we handle all of our food and botanical ingredients, we take great pride in our Artisan Batch Blending Methods where we accurately hand weigh and blend each formulation. This process is similar to that used by a chef when creating a prized recipe. Small batch production allows us to use the freshest of materials and ensures thorough blending for product uniformity. Using low temperature tableting machinery we ensure that our supplements are not subjected to the extremes of heat often associated with modern tableting and encapsulation equipment.
